Senor Carlos made our stay! He helped us arrange taxis, gave us directions, and recommendations. He was constantly asking if there was anything we needed and even negotiated with our taxi drivers! The WiFi was good and consistent which is important as a digital nomad. Good and cheap local food in the area. Rooftop was a nice place to relax, work, or do some yoga. Such a nice spot to crash for one night. People said it was a dangerous neighborhood, we haven't seen or felt anything like that. We enjoyed the location and the party over there. We didn't have to share the bathroom with anyone else, which made it more interesting.

The location of this hostel is inconvenient for public transportation and taxis don't like to pick up or drop off here. However, the staff provides excellent service and the rooms are clean and modern with fantastic beds. Additionally, the rooftop offers a pleasant view and there is a clean and well-equipped kitchen for guests to use.

The area surrounding the hostel is known to be dangerous and impoverished.

The lady even bought fresh cooked fish for us for a dollar with rice and avocado which we ordered through her! Food very nearby. Cell phone recharge next door. Also excellent security. Our host was so helpful in getting us a good deal on taxis, showing us the best street food, and other generally budget friendly things. We were here just one night, our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we had our own air conditioning. The shared bathroom and kitchen were also very clean. Very nice rooftop terrace.
